Our Team

Jordan Griffie, LPC

Therapist

Jordan's path to therapy was one divinely created. After losing his mother to a battle with cancer at fourteen, Jordan unknowingly gained knowledge that would assist him in his future practice. Again faced with adversity at thirty when his father passed away from leukemia, he again found himself grieving. A father, husband, and business owner didn't allow him the space or time, he thought, to grieve. We all are often faced with the ticking of the clock and struggling to breathe, let alone conquer life. He was no exception. Jordan's extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and personal background in life provide the grace, acceptance, and knowledge to help you in your healing journey.

As the founder of River City Counseling, Jordan has built his life in the River Valley with his wife and three sons. Jordan graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with his Masters of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2012. Beginning practice in 2011, Jordan has practiced in a number of settings including inpatient and outpatient addiction rehabilitation, community mental health, and private practice. Jordan specializes in marital and individual work and sees families who struggle with navigating their cycle. His passion for healing and an empathic personality provide a safe, trusting guide for your struggle.
